Future strategic planning for public libraries

This book is the latest book in the field of strategic planning in public libraries, which appeared in October 2022. This book was prepared by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Aman, Deputy Director of Egypt Public Library for Regional and Branch Libraries and General Coordinator of Egypt Public Libraries.
The book begins with an introduction by Ambassador Mohamed Reda Al-Taifi, Director of the Egypt Public Libraries Fund. It is an introduction in which a writer explains the importance of the book in the field, after that a brief introduction by the author.
This book consists of an introduction and four chapters, each of which deals with an aspect of strategic planning in public libraries, and ends with a summary and a selected bibliographical list. These chapters are:
The introduction deals with defining the importance of strategic plans for public libraries in Egypt, which are considered among the largest and most widespread libraries in terms of services and capabilities in Egypt. There is no message and it did not do a SWOT analysis of the reality of libraries, whether in the capital or the governorates, although there is a strong expansion in the establishment of branches of public libraries in the governorates, and this is done without a comprehensive plan that relied on strategic planning. Public funds are provided through the Ministry of Finance and Planning. Where the importance of this study stems from the importance of the role played by strategic planning in information institutions.
