Abstract

This study aims to identify the video essay and identify its most prominent features, its definition, its stages of emergence, its importance, the most prominent advantages, disadvantages and challenges it faces, how to cite video articles and their areas of use, how to create video articles, how to distinguish between video summary and video articles, and the current situation witnessed by this new trend.
