Intellectual property concepts: a presentation of its laws locally and internationally

Abstract

This study dealt with what is meant by intellectual property rights, their importance, and their sections of industrial property rights, artistic and literary property rights, and the most important agreements that protect those rights and the organizations that manage these agreements through the first axis. As for the second axis of the study, it deals with the development of intellectual property laws in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the authorities concerned with intellectual property rights in Egypt, with a focus on presenting the most important materials related to copyright within Law 82 of 2002 for the protection of intellectual property rights in Egypt and identifying what is meant by works, and the quality of The works that enjoy copyright protection, the conditions that must be met in the works in order to enjoy copyright protection, and the types of rights enjoyed by the author and the means of their protection. Then shed light on the most prominent international agreements that Egypt has entered into in the field of intellectual property rights, including agreements in the field of literary and artistic property rights, agreements supervised by the World Intellectual Property Organization, agreements supervised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, and agreements in the field of industrial property rights. .
