Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of agile management in supporting knowledge management projects in government agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It also aimed to identify the role of agile management in supporting knowledge management projects through the processes of (knowledge transfer and distribution - knowledge acquisition - knowledge application) in government agencies. Saudi Arabia, as well as identifying the level of current practices of agile management through the dimensions (continuous improvement, management by vision, respect for individuals) and its role in supporting knowledge management projects, and identifying employees’ perceptions of the obstacles and difficulties facing agile management applications in supporting knowledge management projects. The study had a descriptive analytical approach, and a questionnaire was used to obtain data for analysis, while the sample of the current study consisted of all heads of departments and senior departments working in government agencies in the Al-Baha region, amounting to (42) individuals. The questionnaire was also used to collect data related to the axes of the study, and it showed The results of the study showed that there is a role for agile management in supporting knowledge management projects, represented by the dimension of applying knowledge, followed by the dimension of acquiring knowledge, followed by the dimension of transferring and distributing knowledge. The results of the study also showed that the study members agreed to a very high degree on the level of current practices of agile management through the dimensions of (continuous improvement, management With vision and respect
