Data Management in Security Academic Institutions and Its Role in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the role of data management in security academic institutions in raising the efficiency of their graduates, which contributes to achieving the goals of sustainable development, using the Police Academy in the State of Qatar as a subject of application. The study addresses the role of data management as a vital pivot in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of academic and administrative processes by presenting the strategies and techniques used in academic data management and its role in improving the quality of security teaching and training, especially in the areas of education, proper work and economic growth.
The study follows the descriptive analytical approach to reveal the importance of data management's role in raising the efficiency of the Police Academy outputs, which contributes to raising the quality of the security facility as one of the main requirements for achieving sustainable development. The study also employs the interview as a tool to collect data related to its main topic, and the questionnaire used in the study is directed to the directors of colleges, institutes and centers affiliated with the Police Academy.
The key results of the study are represented in understanding the importance of having an administrative entity specialized in data management to achieve the desired objectives of the data.
