Abstract

There are many methods of bibliometric measurements and the method of calculating them, whether for specific topics, persons, bodies, or even to measure the intellectual production produced by a country, and since the rules of reference citations, with their weight in this field, are the most effective tool for obtaining digital indicators through which information sources can be evaluated. And identify thematic trends and the trends in publishing and authorship therein. This study relied on the bibliometric approach and by using the Prisma 2020 guidelines to improve the quality of the outputs and accelerate the bibliometric analysis process in an accurate and effective manner. The study is divided into an introductory part of the Prisma method and how to apply it to bibliometric studies, as well as its flow chart and the various technical tools for its implementation, and the application of these guidelines to the subject of non-formal education for children and related library services available in the Scopus and web of science citation databases, conducted a thematic and geographical analysis of the journal articles under study, which resulted in the fact that most of the articles belonged to the fields of social sciences, followed by the field of computer sciences , and that the countries that published the most in this field were the United States of America and the United Kingdom
