Prototype for establishing national research data repository

It provides a comprehensive analysis of data management policies, beginning with data collection, organization, and storage, and extending to data access, security, backup strategies, and other essential measures to ensure effective data protection and governance.
The study further explores the technological and infrastructural requirements necessary for establishing a national research data repository, drawing upon Harvard University’s infrastructure in the implementation of the Dataverse system as a guiding model. It also reviews research data management systems and supporting software, as well as the operational requirements needed to sustain their efficiency and continuity. In addition, the research addresses repository configuration and control policies, the application of metadata standards, and the evaluation of repository performance through the development of indicators to measure both effectiveness and efficiency.
