Abstract

This study aims to monitor the problems of distance education in the Department of Libraries and Information at South Valley University from the point of view of students and study them to develop appropriate solutions to them, and this study has reached several results, including, that distance education helps eliminate the problem of increasing the number of students enrolled with the shortage of school buildings, as well as distance education provides an opportunity for the largest number of pleasuresFor whom to view and download lessons and lectures, and also provides the opportunity for space for learners who are unable to attend, such as those with special needs to learn in universities at the level of their aspirations, and also distance education stimulates self-education, the distance education process provides the learner with thinking skillsScientific, distance education is characterized by a flexible educational environment in terms of space and time, it is noted that distance education is important from the point of view of students, as distance education increases the understanding of scientific material as well as helps students to create and innovate and make the educational process bidirectional is not one-way and is not limited to the role of the teacher being the only source of information, and information can be obtained through multiple sources, as students see that distance education saves time and effort, and makes Learning is more fun, distance education improves the learning process, distance education raises motivation towards learning and stimulates self-learning.
